Challenge
Groupama faced significant operational challenges due to an outdated and manual infrastructure setup. The need for a migration strategy, proper resource management, and improved security measures hindered their ability to scale. They also needed to reinforce certain aspects of their IT team’s skills to adapt to the digital environment.
Solution
Cloud Office collaborated with Groupama to design and implement a comprehensive Google Cloud Landing Zone. Using automated controls and Terraform-based deployments, they orchestrated a seamless migration of workloads while enhancing security frameworks, establishing centralized logging and monitoring, and implementing a reliable disaster recovery setup. The team also conducted cost optimization and documented the infrastructure in Terraform for future autonomy.
Result
Cloud Office built a dynamic data platform as an extension of Groupama's existing infrastructure that was using Teradata. It enables the business to have greater control and visibility over compliance while expanding functionality. Most importantly, the new solution ensures seamless integration with the core business processes of the company.
