About the Role
As an Account Executive (AWS Sales), you will play a key role in promoting and selling AWS cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing a strong customer pipeline, leading client engagements, and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers. You will contribute to organizational growth by driving revenue and staying current on AWS innovations and best practices.
What You’ll Do
- Connect with potential customers to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges.
- Partner with AWS Solutions Architects and technical teams to design and present tailored cloud solutions that address customer needs and business objectives.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying leads through outbound efforts, referrals, and networking opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of AWS solutions for specific customer use cases.
- Lead contract negotiations, address objections, and close deals efficiently while ensuring accurate pricing and contract documentation.
- Collaborate with Customer Success team to maintain strong post-sale relationships to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and drive long-term account growth.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer adoption patterns, and competitive landscapes to strategically position AWS offerings.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across industries.
- Develop technical and business knowledge of AWS products and services.
- Stay informed on new releases, pricing models, and competitive advantages.
- Accurately document sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide timely sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, technical, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in B2B technology or cloud computing sales.
- Experience with AWS or related cloud platforms sales is a big advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with the broader cloud ecosystem is an advantage.
